Johann Straumfjord Sigurdson Jr

 

Johann began his life in Winnipeg, Canada and grew up a Waterman on Lake Winnipeg engaging in swimming, sailing, windsurfing and kiteboarding.  Early on he added snow sports and riding to the mix and is about to add aviation as he initiates his pilot training. He is a certified PADI diver.

He is currently a Senior at the University of Manitoba School of Business where he is focusing on entrepreneurial ventures and new business strategy. He is President/Founder of Stash Snow Co (www.stashsnow.com) which is a company providing backcountry sled skiing in Iceland.

Johann has undertaken the role of digital media manager and most of the audio and video recorded on the expedition activities to date have been captured by Johann.
