Linda Sigurdson Collette, Researcher and Historian

Linda is Lead Researcher and Historian for Fara Heim. She is a Masters Candidate at the University of Manitoba in Icelandic Studies. Her mastery of the Icelandic language is helping the team work with historical documents to evaluate high potential sites in the Arctic.

She has been instrumental in connecting Fara Heim with the Nordic communities across North America, the North Atlantic and Europe. The results of her efforts have already produced a prodigious amount of information that is being collected into the resource on Norse activities in the Arctic before the Middle Ages.
